Boilermaker
Cocktail Kingdom Hospitality Group

Named for the classic beer-and-shot combo and inspired by New York's industrial heritage and blue-collar union halls, Boilermaker had a dive bar vibe with exceptional food and drink, and sometimes, heavy metal nights.
The identity drew from vintage labor union badges, hand-painted storefront signage, worn metal finishes, and utilitarian typography. We used vintage postcards and trades manuals for collateral, hand-stenciling and stamping signage and menus.
Boilermaker stood on the corner of 1st and 1st in the East Village of Manhattan for 7 years until closing in late 2020.
